This year, the City of Altoona will hold it’s annual River Prairie Ginormous Pumpkin Festival. The festival is an overwhelming success, with more pumpkins entered at the festival than any other weigh-off in Wisconsin. The festival has quietly become one of the top 10 weigh-offs in the world as measured by the number and weight of pumpkins entered. This festival is a celebration for the growers and their fruit.
