We're growers just like you, so we know how hard you work in your patches, and what an accomplishment it is when at the end of a marathon season you get that prized fruit to the finish line! After all of your hard work, it's important that when you take your fruit to any GPC weigh-off, you have the assurance that it will be judged fairly and consistently.

Our judges have a very important job, and oftentimes records and significant prize money are at stake at our events, so the GPC needs to step up to actively educate our weigh-off officials. We have created a training module and an open-book judges' test to educate and certify weigh-off officials prior to the events. Each site will need one or more of its judging panel certified under this new program.

This is a great resource for ALL growers to gain a more in-depth understanding of the GPC rules before attending a weigh-off, and we welcome ANYONE to partake in the training and the judging test! Site coordinators should identify their potential judges, and then those officials will need to complete the testing between now and one month before their site's scheduled event.
